Camp Cambria Mini-Camp is a great experience for children with juvenile arthritis (JA) and their parents. The greatest benefit of these programs is getting to meet and network with other families who are affected by JA and share some of the same feelings, experiences and concerns. It's a place to exchange ideas, give and receive encouragement, make new friends and know you're not alone.
The purpose of Mini-Camp is to get children between the ages of four and seven years old acclimated to our camp environment, meet other campers their own age to build friendships, and experience what Camp Cambria has to offer when they become old enough to attend the full week!
Mini-campers will participate in traditional camp activities such as arts and crafts, games, swimming and much more! Mini campers and volunteers will be able to utilize the heated pool during the day. Please bring swim wear, and towels. A Lifeguard will be on duty. Please note that we only have space to accommodate the child with JA and 1-2 parent(s)/guardian. We ask that siblings do not attend mini-camp due to space.
