Art for Arthritis gives local children diagnosed with juvenile arthritis an introduction to the arts and offers them an opportunity to explore methods of self-expression. These children, supported by local artists, come together to fight arthritis by raising awareness about the disease. In addition, the mentor artists, as well as other local artists, donate artwork to raise funds for the Arthritis Foundation.
Art for Arthritis attendees can look forward to an evening of hors d’oeuvres, sit-down dinner, desserts, a cash bar, diamond raffle, and of course, beautiful artwork available for purchase. There will be an exciting live auction featuring the artwork the children and artists have created together, as well as a silent auction of beautiful artwork and other donated items.
